Sandy Case has joined NEP Group’s Creative Technology Group division as SVP of Sports. Based in London, Case will lead and grow the company’s global sports business, connecting Creative Technology Group’s live events experts and solutions with clients around the world. Case will report to Graham Andrews, Global President, NEP Live Events and CEO, Creative Technology Group.
Mr Case is a dynamic, commercially minded leader with extensive experience across a variety of sectors including finance, retail, consulting and sports. He began his career at Morgan Stanley where he led one of the European trading desks, honing his strategy and leadership skills in the financial world. After moving from finance to co-found and successfully run an independent retail business, his passion for sport has seen him work with global brands such as Nike, Channel 4 and the RFU to develop national grassroots sports programs and drive large scale initiatives to positively impact local communities.
Prior to joining Creative Technology Group, Case served as CEO of iSportConnect, the world’s largest private network of sports executives, where he built relationships and drove growth within the B2B sports sector. Case’s extensive sports industry experience, combined with his understanding of the evolving sports world and its complexities, and his strategic vision and leadership acumen make him the perfect fit to lead Creative Technology Group’s Sports division into its next phase of growth and innovation.
“We’ve had a fantastic sports business since our inception and our plans now are to build on the success we’ve had so far and make this a truly global market sector for us,” said Andrews. “We’re thrilled that Sandy is joining us. His experience in the sports world will be extremely complementary to the skills already in place on our team and I look forward to working alongside him to develop this important part of our business.”
“From my first meetings with Creative Technology’s senior team, it was clear the company has two key strengths: great people and world-class products,” said Case. “First, they have smart, innovative people on their team. Second, their world-class products/solutions are at the heart of the future of sports and entertainment – their focus on the fan experience. With an incredible portfolio that includes the IOC, DP World Tour, Wimbledon/AELTC, LIV, NASCAR and UFC, I am excited to join the company and help grow their global live events business.”
