In this role, Little will oversee all product development efforts at Radar and report directly to CEO Spencer Hewett. Little succeeds Paul Petras, who will continue to serve as a senior advisor to Radar and one of the company’s largest shareholders, according to the New York-based company.
A technology veteran, Little has more than 20 years of experience leading the development of products leveraging computer vision, lidar and radar technologies. He most recently served as Vice President of Engineering at Luminar Technologies, a global automotive technology company, where he oversaw the development of the company’s lidar products. Previously, he served as Vice President of Hardware and Firmware at Argo AI, where he led all hardware engineering operations for the autonomous vehicle technology company.
He previously served as program manager for the Health Solutions Group and Windows division at Microsoft and spent more than seven years at Apple, where he was head of the Camera Engineering Program Management organization.
In the same announcement, Radar also announced that Morgan Levine, former vice president of legal and compliance at Farfetch, would become chief advisor to Radar, reporting directly to chief growth officer Eric Mogil.
“Zach is a respected leader with a combination of technology expertise and the ability to unite large hardware and software engineering teams to achieve business objectives at incredible speed,” said Hewett. “His unique skill set and strategic mindset make him an ideal fit for Radar. At the same time, we are pleased to welcome Morgan Levin as general counsel as we accelerate our business momentum.”
Radar is an RFID and AI-powered inventory tracking platform that uses “computer vision” to help retailers and sales associates in-store find what products are available on the spot and where they are located.
Little and Levin join a new roster of executives, engineers and customer experience leaders who have joined Radar from Amazon, Google, Zara, Meta and Uniqlo as the tech company enters a new phase of growth.
