Love’s plans to invest more than $2 million over the next five years to install the system in existing and upcoming stores.
Love’s has announced an investment in gamification technology to both enhance customer experience and improve operational efficiency.
Love’s gamification system features three strategically placed 27-inch monitors that track key performance metrics in real time, including greeter times, order processing times and food delivery times.
Comprehensive tracking enables employees to provide fast and efficient service while maintaining high quality standards.
“Love’s is stepping into a new era of restaurant technology by incorporating gamification into our operations,” the company said in a statement. “This innovative approach creates a more interactive and rewarding environment for our associates and directly impacts the speed and quality of service our customers receive.”
The competitive element between stores further improves employee performance.
“Our investments in gamification technology are transforming the way Love’s restaurants operate. By incorporating cutting-edge technology, we’re able to optimize the customer experience while increasing team member engagement,” said Joe Cotton, vice president of foodservice at Love’s. “Guests want convenience while on the go, and this solution shortens wait times for customers and gets drivers back on the road quickly.”
Each store’s performance is compared across stores and top performers are recognized in real time. Employees can earn badges for reaching milestones, hitting sales targets and fostering personal development. The system transforms work processes into an engaging and easy-to-understand format, encouraging motivation and excellence in every task.
“The gamification software helps us meet our brand standards and speeds up service,” said Tanda Hopper, restaurant manager at Carl’s Jr. “It motivates our employees and creates healthy competition between our restaurants. We’re always striving to be ranked at the top.”
Love’s has committed to investing more than $2 million over the next five years to implement gamification technology in all of its stores, and as Love’s expands, all new stores will be equipped with the technology.
