Two environmental activists sprayed two private jets with orange paint at a British airport on Thursday morning, falsely claiming that pop superstar Taylor Swift’s jet was parked nearby.
Police were called to Stansted Airport in Essex at around 5:10am local time after reports that two people had entered the area and damaged two planes, according to the BBC.

The Just Stop Oil group admitted to being behind the incident and claimed Swift’s jet was parked on the runway during the protests.
However, Stansted Airport denied that the “Anti-Hero” songstress’ plane was there, the outlet reported.
The two activists, Jennifer Kowalski, 28, and Cole McConald, 22, were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to property, the outlet reported.
“As a precautionary measure, runway operations were suspended for a short period of time but there are no disruptions to flights and the airport and flights are operating normally,” an airport spokesman said.

“I spray painted this jet to perfection,” Kowalski says. He made the remarks in a selfie video taken at the airport.

“And the one behind her!” McDonald interjected, and both women giggled.
“We need an international treaty banning the burning of oil, coal and gas,” says MacDonald. In the second video he claimed.
“While people are starving, the elite and the wealthy are flying thousands of feet above all of us. Billionaires are not invincible,” she added.

According to the Daily Mail, eagle-eyed detectives realized that Kowalski was actually one of 15 fans who met Taylor Swift backstage at the Glasgow show during her 1989 tour nine years ago.
A young Kowalski and his sister Lisa can be seen smiling and lifting the “Tortured Poet’s Department” singer into the air during a sold-out meet and greet at the SSE Hydro Arena.
The former biology student previously described Swift as her “hero” and even threw a party for her to celebrate the release of her new song, the Daily Mail added.
Kowalski and McConald were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to property.
Just Stop Oil did not immediately respond to The Washington Post’s request for comment.
Swift, who is currently on the UK leg of her record-breaking Eraser tour, has been criticised by fans and environmental activists for her use of private jets.
In 2022, she topped the list of celebrities with the highest carbon footprint from private jets.
