PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Hospitals, banks, airlines and other organizations around the world are struggling with widespread technology outages, and the Phoenix area is no exception.

Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport
Allegiant Airlines has canceled all flights from Gateway Airport until at least noon Friday. Flights after noon may still be affected. Passengers should monitor flight status with their airline.
Airport officials confirmed Allegiant Air was the only commercial airline departing from Mesa Airport this morning.
Phoenix 911 Dispatch Center
The Phoenix Police Department’s computerized 911 dispatch center was affected by an overnight power outage. Service to the 911 dispatch center was restored just before 6 a.m. Friday.
A police spokesman said people needing emergency assistance could still call 911 during the power outage and call centre staff were able to manually dispatch emergency personnel.
Banner Health
Officials with Banner Health said the company’s IT systems were affected by a widespread outage.
Banner Hospital is open today for inpatient and emergency care. All other facilities at Banner Hospital, including clinics, urgent care, diagnostic imaging and other outpatient facilities, are closed.
