Chrissy Teigen is looking at the many ways technology can improve children’s lives.
While speaking about her new Nada Yada Island campaign in partnership with T-Mobile, the mother of four opened up to PEOPLE about one of her favorite parenting resources. Between the family’s relaxing time at home and a packed travel schedule, Teigen, 38, and her husband, John Legend, 45, turn to technology to keep their kids busy.
“We use a lot of learning apps that we think are great for our kids,” she told People, adding that her 8-year-old daughter, Luna, is learning Spanish through Duolingo. “I feel like it’s a really great addition to the other things she’s doing. Yes, it’s technology, but it’s been really great for her.”

Teigen continues, “Honestly, I’m all for technology, and I know a lot of people have big reactions to things like iPads and screen time.”
Even when her kids aren’t actively learning something new, the model appreciates what digital entertainment can provide for Luna and her little siblings: sister Estee, 17 months, brother Miles, 6 months, and brother Ren, 12 months.
“Kids have so many activities, especially when school is in session,” says the Cravings by Chrissy Teigen founder. “They’re so busy with activities during the week that they don’t mind a little break on the weekends.”

For example, Teigen said Miles’ current interest in the online game Roblox has helped her and his son bond.
“My son’s kind of discovered that world, and I think that’s really interesting because I grew up playing games,” the Sports Illustrated cover star told People magazine. “I still play games. I have a Nintendo Switch. I grew up online and I played a lot of games, so I don’t mind my boys enjoying that kind of stuff.”

Teigen and Legend recently went on a family trip to Paris, spending quality time with their two oldest children while abroad.
The former Lip Sync Battle host shared some sweet photos from her trip to Europe, capturing fun outings and moments when jet lag got the better of the “sleepy bunch,” Teigen wrote in the caption.
A carousel of Instagram photos showed Luna and Miles napping, with the mother looking tired herself in sunglasses inside a restaurant, her daughter smiling next to her.
