Vanessa, the mother of Ghanaian comedian Funny Face’s children, has expressed bewilderment over her ex-partner’s refusal to apologise to the family for past mistakes.
She said that their relationship had been strained by Funny Face’s past disrespect towards her family, which further complicated the situation.
Vanessa questioned why Funny Face expressed his desire to see his children in social media posts rather than visiting his home in Kumasi to spend time with them.
In a video shared by One Ghana TV on its YouTube channel, Vanessa urged Funny Face to seek forgiveness from her family if she wants to resolve the issue peacefully rather than going public.
She emphasized the importance of respect, saying, “This person [Funny Face] He disrespected my family so he should be able to at least come back and apologize. It’s not right to think that having children with me automatically means forgiveness after insulting my family.
“An apology would make a big difference, the family would understand and we can move forward. But if it is too difficult for him to apologise and he keeps calling on me on social media to meet his children, why can’t he himself come to Kumasi? Why did he tell me he was on his way to Kumasi if he claims he couldn’t make it because of an accident?”
Meanwhile, Funny Face has been facing some issues with his ex-wife since their separation in 2021, sparking various controversies on social media.
